Phone Specification

The Pixel 7 Series will use Google Tensor G2 as its processor. It is a custom chip created by Google and only used in Pixel smartphones. As for Google Tensor G2, it has 2 main cores that hopefully will take care of the phone workloads. 

All while returning to a low-power state faster. This is incredibly important because processors affect how we use our phones such as speech recognition, translation, and one of the best features of Pixel smartphones; the camera.

As for RAM, the Pixel 7 will have 8 GB Low-Power DDR, meanwhile, the Pixel 7 Pro will have 12 GB Low-Power DDR. It will help the phone to consume less power. It is mainly targeted for smartphone use. 

The Pixel 7 series materials are stated as an Aluminum frame with a glass back. Combined with IP68 water and dust resistance. Pixel 7 Series will run on the Android 13 operating system with 5 years of security update support.

Phone Features

As for the display, the Google Pixel 7 user guide states that it will have a 6.3″ OLED with a resolution of 2400×1080 FHD+ pixel resolution. Meanwhile, the Pixel 7 Pro will have a 6.7″ LTPO OLED with 3120×1440 QHD+ pixel resolution. 

To make it more interesting, the display will be reinforced with a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. For anyone who is not familiar with Gorilla Glass, it is reinforced glass to protect smartphones. It is thin and also lightweight. So users will still feel comfortable when looking at the screen.

Other features of the Pixel 7 Series are the cameras. Pixel smartphones have been known to be smartphones with a leading-industry camera. The pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro rear camera is a 50 MP sensor with f/1.85 lens, combined with a 12 MP ultrawide sensor with an f/2.2 lens. 

The Pixel 7 Pro is also combined with a 48 MP telephoto sensor with an f/3.5 lens. The front camera of the Pixel 7 is an 8 MP sensor, while the Pixel 7 Pro will have an 11.1 MP sensor combined with laser detect autofocus and optical image stabilization.
